Last month’s episode of Lunchtime Connections was held on April 18 and included presentations from Mercury Systems, ArgenTech Solutions and the McAuliffe Shepard Discovery Center.
This event is a chance for Veterans to mix in a social environment and network with others looking for jobs and advice for finding jobs, and for potential Employers to meet Veterans looking for jobs in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Suicide rates amongst Veterans are some of the highest in the Nation. To help employers to understand the warning signs and help Veterans who need intervention, the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), working with the NH Department of Health and Human Services and the VA, is working to help prevent suicides amongst the Veteran community. They are offering to employers the opportunity to attend the Arlington Conference they have on May 16, & 17, 2018. They will provide all travel expenses for 2-3 different leaders from different employers.
NHADEC launches Unmanned Systems Committee to assist member companies engage with the unmanned and autonomous systems market.

Mercury Systems Receives $6.2M Electronic Warfare Order
Cirtronics, a Contract Manufacturer in Southern NH, has been selected as a tour site by The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), for their upcoming International Conference taking place October 9-13 in Boston, MA.
New England Wire Technologies in Lisbon, NH aided in the completion of a major milestone for US contributors to the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) project. New England Wire produced over 22,000 feet of finished Toroidal Field (TF) cable that will be part of the ITER toroidal field magnet system. As the only US company awarded the contract to produce the finished cable, New England Wire completed all deliveries for ITER in November of 2016.
Milpower Source, a New Hampshire based company, offers NHADEC members a local solution to satisfy offset requirements for sales in India through a JV. NHADEC members are invited to learn more by speaking directly with Milpower.
Manchester, NH (March 3, 2017) – Marmon Aerospace & Defense LLC, a Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company, today announced the acquisition of KITCO Fiber Optics of Virginia Beach, VA, a highly-respected leader in the specialty, military, and aerospace fiber optic industries. Terms were not disclosed. While KITCO will continue to operate as an independent business, its products complement those of Marmon Aerospace & Defense. Together, the two businesses will offer defense industry customers unique, focused product and service capabilities for electrical, electronic, fiber optic, and communication solutions. Their collective resources will enable continued growth and innovation for both Marmon and KITCO in service to the U.S. defense industry.
