Upcoming NASA SBIR/STTR Solicitations for Small Business

August 18, 2020

Our Executive Director, Bill Bates, met with NASA program managers recently. Last week, the program managers revealed more about upcoming solicitations in two program areas — tentatively slated for later this year or early 2021 for small businesses. Through a competitive awards-based program, SBIR and STTR enable small businesses to explore their technological potential and provide the incentive to profit from its commercialization. For small business members (under 500 employees) with existing products or services looking to innovate to find new markets, this is a program worth looking into. This is a program for small business, with several New Hampshire companies previously submitting successful proposals. The program provides funding for developing your product or service idea and follow on funding for the development stage in the process. A SPECIAL NOTE — Because we are ahead of NASA’s solicitation period scheduled for later this year, NHADEC MEMBERS have an opportunity to get information about your company and area of expertise to NASA program managers. This give you a chance to tell more about you, your products and services and your company to NASA program people ahead of time.  If you see an area of interest contact Bill Bates to discuss how to take next steps: william.bates@NHADEC.com
