Malaysia

Terminal Operating System and Centralized Ticketing System – Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (crown corporation in charge of airports) is interested in proposals from companies that can provide, operate and transfer a terminal operating system and a centralized ticketing system at the bus terminal and short term car park at the KL airport.  See attached RFP.  Deadline for RFP is noon on June 5th.

Argentina

Various Security/Defense Equipment – The Argentine Ministry of Security informed CS Buenos Aires that they will be launching in the upcoming weeks a number of different tenders to purchase specific security and defense equipment to support their law enforcement agencies during  Argentina’s hosting of all G20 meetings that will take place throughout the year.  Due to a very short timeframe, they plan to carry out the purchases under National tenders, as opposed to through local procurements which would require a 10-month period to conduct an international public tender.  As such, foreign companies can still apply, only if they have at least an initial company registration in Argentina,  or a local rep/agent.  See attached list.  Will send more details as we get them.
