This month’s episode of Lunchtime Connections was held on June 13 and included presentations from Milpower Source, Savoir Faire Marketing/Communications and an update on the NHADEC Strategic Action Plan. This webinar series is an opportunity for NHADEC members to introduce themselves to one another and give each one an opportunity to talk about their business and capabilities.

The NHADEC Strategic Action Plan was undertaken because the Board of Directors believed the organization was at a turning point. The five-year plan, developed using stakeholder input and an external partner, charts a course to self-sufficiency for the organization, built around four primary pillars: Strengthening organizational leadership ability and reputation; expanding membership to a regional scale; building a sales focus and capabilities; and, strengthening high quality membership services.

Milpower Source provides configurable power solutions to the aerospace and defense markets. The company has multidisciplinary expertise in power, analog, digital, magnetic RF, thermal and mechanical design techniques. The company sells direct to the military as well as prime contractors and system integrators for sophisticated military applications in airborne, ground and sea systems. The vast majority of the company’s systems are customized to meet customers’ voltage and current requirements.

Savoir Faire Marketing/Communications supports companies through the implementation of strategic, thoughtful marketing programs that work to meet their clients’ business goals. These programs include websites, email marketing, content marketing, inbound marketing, social media and paid advertising, as well as traditional marketing tactics, when appropriate. The presentation introduced the “digital disruption” and discussed how companies must shift their thinking to respond to it, or risk surrendering their competitive advantages to someone else.

You can view the recording of the webinar below to learn more about the capabilities of these three member companies.

Lunchtime Connections are currently being scheduled bi-monthly, opposite months including a General Member Meeting. Each member section is approximately 10 minutes long and includes a Q&A period after the formal presentation.
