About

The Earth, Oceans, and Space Department was formed in 2013 as part of the Southwest Research Institute Space Science and Engineering Division. SwRI-EOS conducts spaceflight and suborbital research for industry and government, with projects focused on heliophysics, astrophysics, and Earth sciences. SwRI-EOS staff members have over 100 combined years of spaceflight and suborbital experience. Their associated expertise is applicable to a wide range of applications, extending well beyond space-based projects.
